We had a lot of trouble casting this role and meanwhile I was watching The Night Of and I shot up from bed in a feverish haze and literally shouted "it's him!" He is a very serious actor and I thought he'd be like "excuse me, why, no" but he's also a giant goofball who was fully okay with hurling me around in the ocean like we were in a Chris Isaac video and learning all the words to a Twista song. Plus he's actually British, so how good is his chillaxed bro accent? One of the best parts of Girls has been the fact that our guest stars come to fuckin play and he really was no exception. Plus I love his work as a musician, writer and activist. @rizahmed
