I have been doing a traditional highlight on this babe for years. She loves being #blonde but is also drawn to photos of more rooty balayages. We have done balayages in the past but they never seem to lighten up that root area enough and they always seem to add a bit of warmth, which we both hate seeing in her hair. Today we decided to try something different! ✨
I foiled her whole head alternating weaving and slicing. Then I toned her highlights at her base with a level 6 ash Demi permanent and her ends with a silver Violet toner by @Kenraprofessional. By doing this she has the depth at the root that she loves while still having her highlights show through a bit on top. It also eliminates any type of foil line and ensures that we have no warmth in our cool toned #platinum all over ! Win win ??
