It's 11.55 pm, and days like these make me think about my life and about what I could have possibly done to deserve this kind of love and personal satisfaction while following my dreams.. I guess there is no easy answer to that but do you guys care about knowing what were the biggest lessons I've learnt in this journey? Follow your instinct and be open to changes. Embrace the new, the scary, the unknown. Challenge yourself to learn something new everyday, smile to people,remind yourself how much you're worth. Be the person you'd wanna be, fight for your values, be excited and hungry for what's to come. Remind yourself that if something didn't work it might have not been the best thing for you at the moment. Expect a lot from yourself but don't be too hard on your soul. Make mistakes and embrace them. Love and live fiercely, with no regrets. Seven years ago The Blonde Salad was 4 months old and I was getting invited to the first fashion shows, obviously with a standing ticket. The fashion world was snobbish and rude to say the nicest when I was excited about my first events and collaborations. I heard and read the worst stuff about me. I suffered, thought I was not doing the right thing so many times, but never thought of quitting. Why? Because sharing my happiness and excitement with the world was one of my biggest sources of happiness and excitement itself. How would I ever give that up? I could have never believed I would once be this woman I've always dreamt of becoming. And I still have so much to do, to learn, to accomplish, to live. But being able to follow my dreams and hopefully inspire others to do the same is a feeling I can't describe, it's what makes me wake up in the morning smiling and wanting to dance while brushing my teeth singing my favourite songs. This is life: with its ups and downs, making you feel like a lion and then like a fragile flower. But who wants to be a lion all the time? Thank you for this day and chance Harvard, Anat and Sandrine. Thank you guys for being by my side and for being so full of love. I hope to make you proud.
