#EvaGreen and #GemmaArterton will co-star in director #ChanyaButton's #VitaAndVirginia. Eva will play literary icon #VirginiaWoolf while Gemma will play socialite and author #VitaSackvilleWest. The film will focus on the friendship and love affair between Woolf and Sackville-West on the time period of 1927-1928 when Virginia Woolf wrote "Orlando", a novel inspired by Virginia and Vita's relationship.

Vita & Virginia will be a visceral love story, a vivid exploration of creativity and an energized perspective on one of the most iconic writers. The film will feature a relationship where bold, brilliant women bent institutional barriers to their will at great personal cost. Eva will do a playful and sexual version of Virginia Woolf, a far cry from the gloom often associated with the author.

Miss Button co-wrote the witty and evocative screenplay with Dame #EileenAtkins, on whose stage play of the same name the film is based on. #KatieHolly of @blinderfilms and Evangelo Kioussis of Mirror Productions are producing the project with #SimonBaxter executive producing for Mirror alongside Eva and Gemma. Protagonist Pictures is currently introducing the film to buyers at EFM in Berlin.
