This poor Coatimundi was donated by a pet owner last week, who had her declawed and the canines removed. Often people do not realize the harm they do to try and render an exotic animal harmless? Yet Meeka can still cause serious injury with her bite, as I quickly learned?Here we are giving her as much attention and enrichment as possible?
Please consider the fate of any exotic animal before acquiring one...more often than not you are marking their fate a miserable one. Even if your intentions seem right?
Walking on a lead is all she knows aside from being housed in a small cage through the last ten years of her life!
