Probably the coolest moment of Nationals was Tess asking if we could push the boundaries (and risk being relegated) by seeing how close she could do the change over (Tess' front wheel had to stay behind mine until after the line). Between playing it safe to avoid failure vs finding out what is possible (or not), I was stoked to have a teammate that wanted to see what we were truely capable of!
The blurred rider is both Tess AND myself - we went on to both do our best times because we were willing to accept failure as an option which is pretty damn cool if you ask me!
