Spitsbergen, Svalbard.
A little over mid April. It's the first night of midnight sun on this latitude.
A Svalbard Reindeer and her calf that were born last year grasses through the bright polar night, as light snowflakes big as kittens falls around them.
Although winter is far from over, they feel that better times are coming. They have survived the hardest part of the winter. Springtime and access to proper food is just around the corner.
