"Most of my work, in one form or another, is autobiographical. When I was trying to put together my voice, I was looking at a lot of work by artists like Takashi Murakami and Yoshitomo Nara. I was interested in the fact that they had mascots they built their worlds around, and I wanted to do something like that. So I created what is essentially, for lack of a better word, this 'bear' character. -- @lukechueh in the March 2017 issue, on stands now.
