Today is a very sad day for the crew. We lost 1 of our MVPs, John Cave, guitarist, father and all around great guy. Gone way too young. I used to introduce John on stage by saying he made love to the guitar. I was being funny, but the was truth to the fact that this man poured his passion into everything he did. Beyond being a great musician, he was a social justice activist who wasn't scared to show up. I toured the whole world with John. When it was time for me to do a free concert somewhere like Ferguson MO, John was there, guitar in hand, ready to to what was necessary. For free. This past Christmas, when I needed him for a gig on the other side of the world, John Cave was with me. We spent Christmas together. I thought I was spending it away from my family but turns out my family was right beside me to whole time. One love to John Cave's family, friends and fellow musicians, my condolences. We love John Cave. Whisky Boys forever.
