The Oakland A's will name the field at the Oakland Coliseum "Rickey Henderson Field." Rickey Henderson will also serve as a Special Assistant to A’s President Dave Kaval.
The Rickey Henderson Field dedication is Opening Night, April 3.
Rickey Henderson Day is Saturday, July 15 when fans will receive a white Oakland jersey with Henderson on the back, a tribute to Rickey and his hometown.
