At our #Harness event yesterday, Anderson shared his story of fleeing gang abuse and violence in El Salvador, and arriving in US detention centers where he was held in 'Hieleras' (Spanish for ice-boxes). Thanks to the work of @carecen_la , he was granted asylum and reunited with his mother. Only 20% of unaccompanied child refugees receive legal representation, but 90% of the ones that do gain the protection they need. #iwillharness donations to resource organizations like @carecen_la that protect child refugees.
