Heartbreaking news... ???? RepostBy @bransonsam: "I am so incredibly sad to say that the body of our dear and special friend Rob @teamsharkwater was found this evening 220m down in the deep blue. Rob was the most unique, kind, passionate, caring and conscious man, who dedicated his life to educating the World about Sharks, their true nature and needless slaughter. He never saw them as anything other than incredible, unique and beautiful creatures. He worked tirelessly to bring people close enough to see their beauty and how we are all connected as living species on this planet. He was so excited about the dive, because with the new equipment he said that he could show people Sharks true personality. Something he was in awe of and strived to share. He was the most wonderful son, brother, friend, conservationist, humanitarian and human being. His soul shone through to all he met and anyone who had the privilege of spending time with him was always blown away. The World has lost one of the true greats... A true Earth Steward and one we can all learn a lot from, through his dedication to his cause and what truly matters in this life. He dedicated his life's work to the Ocean and now he has given it his life. Between the shattered emotions, I am grateful that Rob passed doing what he loved most. In a way he felt more at home in the sea than on land and to me there is a beauty in the fact that the Ocean was his final resting place. It's what he would have wanted. We love you Rob! We will never forget the wonderful memories we have shared together and will do what we can to keep your torch burning. We will continue to strive to awaken the people of this World to its true beauty. You knew deeply what truly matters in this life and the true purpose for living... Love.
