Receiving this in the mail from @wheatiescereal is something I will never forget. 21 years of my life have been dedicated to the sport I love most...sailing. To be recognized by such a renowned company is a HUGE HONOR...a take your breathe away, I can't believe they even know I exist moment. #wheaties made this for me going into the 2016 Olympics and it is something I will cherish for life.
Years ago I was a blonde haired, blue eyed, big dreamed little girl with a heart full of determination and the mindset of, "so what?! I'm a girl, but I can do it too...I might not be great now and I might not ever be, but I have no fear and you better bet I'm here to compete and I'm going to die trying." Seeing this box makes me say thank you from the bottom of my heart to #wheaties for making me feel that I achieved some goals that I set so many years ago.
It takes a team to achieve dreams and I am so thankful for the people who have supported, motivated and guided me over the years.
