Last night we had to say good bye to our angel. Jazzy gave us one final good day on Wednesday but yesterday we knew it was time. She ate roast beef, cheese and some biscuits, then passed so peacefully on my lap. I prayed for clarity, strength and peace and I received them. She gave us 21 bonus days, including the one at the beach and fun day with the sprinkler. We did everything and more and we have no regret. I promised her that I would always be there for her and take care of her and I kept that promise. I loved watching her run. She had the most dainty trots. She is pain free, running on all four legs again. I am going through a flood of emotions - numbness, pain, relief that she is pain free, love, and more pain. Knowing the pain, would I still go through the 13.5 years with her? Absolutely yes. .
