Los Angeles!!!!! Who will adopt this baby???? Her story: What began as a fun girls trip to Mexico, ended up kick-starting a life-changing chain of events we could never have predicted.
We’d been looking forward to visiting the charming fishing village of Popotla , near Rosarito, after reading how celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain had ranked it one of the best three places in the world to eat fresh fish.
But while we were blown away by the food, what left us sick to the stomach was the tragic sight of scores of stray and neglected dogs that surrounded us.
Before the day end we had contacted Ron Richards, Dr. Fimbres and their incredible team at Playa Vets in Tijuana, who after listening to our plea for help, thankfully agreed to come onboard.
Within hours of our phone call they’d travelled to Popotla and were able to treat an incredible 20 dogs with vaccinations, de-worming treatments and 3-month flea and tick pills.
They also discovered 3 dogs that needed serious medical attention and had to be hospitalized.
Bella was one of the three…….. she is around 11 months old and is a very very sweet little lady. She is very friendly and loves children. She seems to get along with others dogs. Medium in size. No messes in house so far. She loves hugs and loves to give you a kiss.
