The after church #Sunday Vibe is real. Church was beyond liberating today. Being a part of a generation where many are turning away from the church, can be quite a challenge. To be transparent, some of our concerns and questions are often quite valid. However, it has not turned me away from the faith. So many respond with the question of whether or not church is necessary to experience God. No, not necessarily. God is infinite and too big to ever be concealed to only church. However, out of all of the family members and friends that we have we still stand with questions. This week God didn't speak to me audibly but he spoke to me through the leader who has been assigned to me (after His own heart). Unfortunately, we neglect being told what to do. We forget the fact that the faith was built off of fatherhood. Nonetheless, I left church feeling empowered to not let the small beginnings of my dreams stop me from reaching. I was corrected with truth to improve my integrity and character; so that what is built is self sustaining. I learned more about managing my finances and being a good steward. Today's word from my leader and guest speaker challenged me to go deeper in the Lord. It also, inspired me to keep God's word in my heart so that I'm not easily withered/convinced by the winds of life. I thank God for the #Sabbath (yesterday) and the day of rest.
