We will prevail through this time. We always do. Our people are coming together and putting up the good fight. We are a smart people who look to expand our hearts, not empty them. We want to thrive economically as a country. We want to represent the free world, as staunchly as we always have. We are built on freedom: a freedom to have our own opinions and fight for what we think is right for our country and what it has always resonated most as: a teacher of diversity and leaders of upholding every idea of freedom (created by those who were willing to stand up). There are still those who believe that America should be a cookie cutter society. I do not. I'm into different strokes for different folks. I've always liked myriad colors and not just one. I don't want you to behave just like me. I want us to show real leadership like Lincoln, like Johnson, like Jefferson, like Kennedy. We have not been a perfect country but our freedom of speech has allowed the people to define this country's best qualities. We are on a massive wave; a wave that could potentially kill us. Be prepared to ride the wave consciously, and with great skill. Ride the wave not trying to hit the others in the water, because by hurting those around you, you'll surely drown yourself.
