An #InstantActOfGratitude you should DO RIGHT NOW! Today, refugees and asylum seekers and even people holding US green cards are being turned away from or even deported at airports across our nation. Some of these folks took off for America before Trump's order was in place -- but are being detained anyway. New York Reps. Jerrold Nadler and Nadia Velazquez are at JFK airport fighting for the release of those who are detained. Please don't call their offices; we need their phone lines open. But drop them an email and show your support for their leadership. Our movement must have it's warm and fuzzy moments too. And we have to support leaders when they do good, not just critique them when they do bad.
