I hope it's okay to deviate from the stationery and journaling posts from time to time. Sometimes I just like to share bits and pieces of my real even in the small things. As I'm growing and changing, my tiny spot here evolves with me too. I got a new haircut yesterday in celebration of the Lunar New Year. So much has been stirring these days and maybe soon I'll take a step out of my borders a little to share more of that in creative expressions here. This season, for me, feels like a seed that has been long germinating and is ready to break out of its enclosure. The shell no longer fits and it's time to let roots become wings. I also decided to invest in a couple of new treasures as a symbolic way to invest in my heart -- where it has been, where it is currently and where it will move towards in the moments ahead. This is a year for embracing the life that I've been gifted to live and to live it out as a gift given. It is a year for freedom, honesty, meaning and daring. This is the year for wildflowers.
