Tension, elevation and a firm even pressure as I apply the lightner is how I like to #HairPaint. I move the product up the hair with a downward motion (so I don't rough up the cuticle) maintaining the same pressure but having the lightner become thinner to create graduation. Think of elmers white glue, the less you apply to quicker it dries. As the lightner gets thinner it dries (stops processing) sooner creating that nice blend of color. ✨
