Here's another clip from black swan pas de deux. Swan Lake is probably the one ballet that never gets any easier no matter how many times I do it. It's truly a test of endurance and mental strength. I've had such amazing coaches help me with it over the years-- Susan Jaffe, Irina Kolpakova, @juliekentofficial, Natalia Makarova. Because roles like this are passed down through the generations from ballerina to ballerina, we are communicating with the dancers of the past when we learn and perform them.
