Yesterday my two remaining grandparents passed away within two hours of each other… My grandfather was reasonably healthy until he realized last week he was about to lose his wife of 67 years, I'm convinced he then decided it was time to go for him as well. I got to FaceTime with my grandmother 45 minutes before she passed and tell her that Poppi was in heaven and he was waiting for her. They were months away from their 88th bday & 68th wedding anniversary. They went out together as they spent their life.... he was a preacher & she was the best southern cook I've known. R.I.P Mimmi & Poppi ??
