Experiencing so many mixed emotions as the sun sets over this beautiful land we're so blessed to call home ☀️Watching people come together to reflect and show their gratitude for living on this land, watching my son pull his sister in close to show her the land he's already growing to love ~ but firstly, and fiercely, taking time to reflect and mourn the suffering endured by the First Australians. For me, today was a profound reminder of our commitment to nurturing our children's awareness, understanding and respect for all the original custodians of this land and their traditions ~ especially the Arakwal Bundjalung people as the First Peoples of Byron Bay ?? #respect and love x Lizzy & Spelly // ? hubby @johnnyabegg
