Fitness goals....what first comes to mind when you hear that? Is it a number you want to see on a scale, is it a jean size you look to fit in to, is it a number of times you go to a fancy workout class a week? While setting these fitness goals for ourselves we often forget about one of the most important components of reaching these goals....what you put into your mouth! I believe it's the most important part! -------------- It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle! I eat healthy almost out of habit now. Is it hard sometimes, heck yeah it is!!! Of course! But seeing the results in not only my body but my energy levels is amazing. Sure, I encourage people to eat clean but it's because I want you to feel the benefits that come from fueling the body with the nutrients it deserves! -------------- With this injury the last couple of months I have let my daily eating habits slip. A little something here, another late night snack there, a cheat day for a month straight!! ?? I had a lot happen in my life all at once & if I'm being honest, I ate my feelings. I'm sure I'm not the only person who's done that. ? Getting back into the swing of things & getting back to leading my healthy lifestyle has been soooo much harder now! I know all too well how good those big bags of peanut butter m&m's taste with the pizza & pasta & everything else in between. It doesn't mean that I can't have those things ever again, I just will do it in moderation. And that was NOT what I was doing recently. Lol ??‍♀️ Being used to those things at midnight makes me crave them SO much worse than I did before, so here I turn to my @fage 0% greek yogurt with a little of honey on top. (Delicious might I add) I wish I would have never fallen out of my eating habits but hey....LIFE HAPPENS! So I'm back on it, who's with me? Do not let your fitness goals fall short because of what you eat.
