I don’t know about you, but I’ve wept an awful lot these last couple of days. It seems that the DNA of all the women who made me, me, pours through my veins in an enlightening awareness of suffering. Though I am not a victim, I am a strong yet sensitive, complex yet simple, an amalgamation of all the women who have come before me. Like it or not, this is who I am. Silently persecuted because of my gender, in looks, in response, in general. I want to soften into my femininity, trust the men who have the potential to hold me up, celebrate me. I do.

Perhaps a misogynistic, anti-liberal, racist, anti-Semetic, gendersceptic leader will bring us genetic miracles together in a sisterhood that celebrates our accomplishments, strengths and differences despite himself. I do hope so.
