To add to what my partner beautifully wrote below, I am heartfelt when I say how much everyone's support has meant over the past few days. As an athlete, we dream of having the skate we train so hard to achieve of in terms of execution, but as an artist, nothing can be a greater compliment then when you hear how a program despite flaws can move and inspire its audience and those watching. Everyone's career has its own trajectory and despite this small road bump, we couldn't be more proud of the grounds we have covered this season. Onwards ?

After safely arriving home from US Nationals, it gave both @ケイトリン・ホワイエク and I some time to really look back at our season as a whole. Our week didn't go as planned in Kansas City but things don't always go according to plan. Reflecting on not only this past weekend but the past months in this competitive season I can only think but do one thing... and that is smile. I couldn't be prouder of our accomplishments we made this season, the growth and development not only as a team but also individually as well. We only have positives to take from all of this. It wasn't the free program we wanted to perform but we learned to adapt but most of all we learned how to "Get Up". @usfigureskating this year introduced the "Get up" campaign, inspiring all ages and levels that in order to get up, you must fall down. In order to grow and become stronger at your art, your craft, your sport and most of all in your life you must "Get Up" Kait and I showed people that everyone makes mistakes and you must get up and keep going! So thank you to all of our fans, supporters, friends and family for continually inspiring us.
We will be back!
