Happy 46th birthday to Julie Foudy! The midfielder was a trailblazer for the women’s game as a player, taking part in the first four editions of the FIFA Women’s World Cup with the USA, claiming the trophy in 1991 and 1999 and finishing third in 1995 and 2003. Foudy also appeared in three Olympic Women’s Football Tournaments, earning a gold medal at Atlanta 1996 and Athens 2004, as well as a silver medal at Sydney 2000.
