If you’re in need of something soothing this weekend, a trip to Gabrielle Richardson’s feed, @fridacashflow, may be in order. The Brooklyn-based artist and model, a self-identified “West Indian Art Heaux” describes her aesthetic as “comfortable. I don’t try to wear clothing that makes me feel unhappy. If I’m feeling down I’ll go someplace bright or colorful, my aesthetic is whatever I’m feeling in the moment.”
But she won’t take all the credit. “I get my inspiration from the people I follow and the places I’m at” the 22-year-old says, citing @sageaflocka, @salemmitchell, and @eboneedavis as just a few of those people. “I also get my inspiration from the art around me.
