Strong and beautiful and articulate -- @セリーナ・ウィリアムズ has been #Rising her whole life. She hasn't waited, she has created. She didn't sit on the sidelines, she changed the game. There is no victim here, only victor.
My hope is that we realize that Serena's story is OUR story. People are gonna say what they're gonna say, judge how they're gonna judge, try to tell you that you're the victim of such and such circumstance --- let them do all that, BUT always KNOW that YOU are the CREATOR OF YOUR LIFE; that circumstances are always temporary & that there are no limits for those refuse to "argue for their own limitations". I believe in an indomitable SPIRIT ✨ I believe in a continual RISE ✨ I believe in an abundant Universe ✨ I believe that each and every one of us has it in us to LIVE, LOVE, CREATE & ENJOY in this beautiful time in the history of the world; not despite the CONTRAST but because of it. Thank the Lord for the diversity in our country and in our world. It is responsible for so much greatness, ingenuity and progress.
I think we all need to find balance within ourselves, stay more often in our own lanes & get to work loving & truly living the life we dream of, the life that we each have the power to create for ourselves.
