Today was the first day in months and months that I felt like my OLD self again. First time since Pre Olympic Trials. Not in the sense of hitting the same numbers, but the way my body feels while lifting. The way my mind is working. The "machine" mindset that knows what needs to be done and just does it. I know there's a long way to go just to even get back to where I was, but I can honestly say, for once I am so happy with this training session, ESPECIALLY after a really long week. Time off was exactly what I needed to reset mentally and physically from a rough end to the 2016 quad.
