Oval briefing, before POTUS signed an EO establishing the Commission & Initiative on Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders, which was one of many initiatives impacting urban and rural communities of all backgrounds; months later through the initiative, the federal govt ended up being able to help thousands of American fishermen in the gulf after the BP spill (language access was previously a challenge since many speak Vietnamese), supporting small business owners across the country, working to end human trafficking, supporting veterans, countering bullying initiatives, helping refugees, fixing data disparities in federal compilations, eliminating government waste, and much more. There were many such initiatives affecting all American communities, many separated by language, economics, or region. I hope that future administrations are as inclusive. ??
