Morning commute on @heronisland ? It's currently turtle nesting season here, and this female turtle was spotted heading back to the ocean after a successful night of egg-laying. This glorious coral cay in the @southerngreatbarrierreef region of @queensland is a breeding site for hundreds of Green and Loggerhead turtles - that's on top of the resident population of over 4,000 turtles that live here all year round.
