"Für Elise" is one of Ludwig van Beethoven's most famous compositions. The score was not published until 1867, 40 years after the composer's death in 1827. When I was a young kid I sat next to my mother at the piano with a guitar in my hands and tried to transcribe the notes as she played this piece of music, from the piano onto guitar.
