Melo has been in my life for almost 5 years, and for 5 years I've had to sacrifice and adjust my lifestyle in order to take care of him. Sasabihin ng iba na ang drama ko naman eh aso lang naman siya, pero para sa akin he is more than just a dog, he is my family. For all those times that I was bursting with joy he was there to jump up and down with me, when I was having a hard day he would be there to comfort me and make sure I was okay. When I would start to panic and have an anxiety attack Melo would simply approach me and start to snuggle me because he knew it would calm me down. Sa tingin ba ninyo walang nararamdaman ang mga ito? We are supposed to make them feel safe and protect them as they would do for us. Which makes me extremely angry about the issue of 2 dogs dying on the set of a film because I know for a fact that it was unnecessary to use a real dog when we have so many ways and resources in order to fake anything. Hello, ilang beses na ako na rape, nabuntis, nabugbog, sumabog at namatay sa isang TV Show o Pelikula. But not once have any of those scenes been real. I just do not understand why this certain scene/incident had to happen. Whats even sadder is the fact that this isn't even the first time an animal has been harmed for pure entertainment. People, its time to open our eyes to the reality of the horrors that is being caused by us humans. Its time for us to truly make a change. I AM AGAINST ANIMAL CRUELTY. #DogsAreFamilyPH
