Today photography collective @_gasoline is taking over our instagram with photographs from DEMONSTRATE, its new collaborative zine documenting the anti-Trump protests in the USA. Here, three of its contributors choose a favourite photograph from the zine, taken by one of their peers.

First up, Alex Austin (@alxastn) chooses a photograph by Joey Trisolini (@jtrisolini). “I was completely shocked watching the votes being counted on election night,” explains Austin. “I wasn't able to vote as I'm not an American citizen so it felt like being in a car with no steering wheel as it drove towards an edge of a cliff in slow motion. I love everything about this image. It's meta. Trump, the celebrity and the presidential candidate photographed from a TV as he makes his speech after winning the election. His portrait framed on television. Shown two-faced of course.”
