#bestnine2016 -- spoke to brilliant students about media literacy, spoke at the DNC, shot an episode of @portlandiaofficial (and went swimming in the middle of Portland), watched my partner @damanibaker finish his film after 15 years of work, worked with him to tell stories about sustainability & hope for the @rainforestalliance and visited their Sri Lankan site, organized fashion to celebrate sustainable projects with @NYCulture & continue to push for progress, organized models to build community & power, spent a couple weeks writing in the forest @mesarefuge, shot a couple vogue covers, and ✨most✨ importantly made some wonderful new friends. Glad this hashtag is going around, grateful, despite everything, for 2016. I met more incredible people this year than I can count, and that gives me hope for whatever is next.
