2016... a doozy for us. So much loss, so much disappointment, but also, I feel, so much growth. For me, this year was about opening every part of myself that I kept hidden for my own reasons, to finally work on my confidence and self worth. I've felt so small the past 10 years. I allowed myself to be broken by disease, by people's comments, people I didn't even know, and placed a ton of judgement on myself and on others and what they thought of me. Coming forward about my MS, was facing my biggest fear, and it gave me a huge gift. A support system. I want to thank all of you for embracing me and encouraging me and even inspiring me. You've made me feel like I'm finally understood and that I'm not alone. That's the saddest feeling in the world. Feeling alone. I still have my struggles with my self confidence and self worth, but YOU ALL have given me so many words and tools that have allowed me to fight those ugly feelings. I pray 2017 brings us all the new beginnings we need, and the continued joy we already possess. I plan to aim even higher this year. I hope you do. I've got your back. Thanks for having mine.
Ummm, and I also got married !!! My little family made it official. Sending a huge thank you to my husband who holds me through all the ups and downs, and sees me the same way he did when we met 5 years ago. Then there's Beau, my little boy, my life, who sees no disease , no failure, no lack of work or money.. he just sees mommy. And I hate to brag, but he's pretty in love with me ?. And my friends, you know you are ... oooooo how lucky am I. Ugh I love you all so much and would do anything for you.
