2016: The year I traveled the country campaigning for Hillary Clinton- a woman who inspires me to DO THE WORK. 2016 reminded me that I live in a country that affords me the right to use my voice openly to express my opinions and fight for the kind of world I want to live in. 2016 made history with the nomination of the first female presidential candidate by a major party. Things didn't turn out the way I wanted them to but as HRC instructed- I will "never stop believing that fighting for what's right is worth it". Thank you Hillary Clinton for always getting back up when things don't go your way. I need that example now more than ever. Thank you 2016 for reminding me I have work to do.
