This is how hundreds of American soldiers at Quayyarah Air Base near Mosul live... shoulder to shoulder in concrete bunkers because it's still so dangerous. Personally, I'll try to remember this image the next time I complain that my chocolate soufflé is taking too long or the water in my bidet isn't warm enough. They would probably hate me for showing this to you because these soldiers didn't complain but I wanted everybody at home to know what it's really like over there. The sacrifices our people are making stuns me sometimes. Lotsa love and respect.
