One of my favorite childhood memories is the time that "Debbie Reynolds" volunteered to babysit me! It could've very well been her hair dresser or her make-up artist? Doesn't matter, it's my story, You see my mom had one of her "favorite" former students, Albert Stephenson dancing in Debbie's Vegas Show. That's why we decided to go on vacation to Las Vegas when I was only 9! After we all saw it, he wanted to take my parents out to gamble in the Casino! Obviously kids weren't allowed - so we had a dilemma, me! I stayed in her hotel room and we giggled and we played and she wore a bright Kelly green terry cloth robe and her hair in a white terry cloth turban! She was so glamorous, but a spitfire! Somewhere in an old family photo album amongst our pictures from that Vegas Trip, there is one of us together! I cherish those memories and all things Debbie Reynolds. I begged our Dance Moms Producers to reach out to her, to try to bring her on as a guest so that the young dancers who watch our show would know her name and appreciate her contribution to dance.
