A split second shot of young sprinter @エラ・ネルソン lunging for the line at #Rio2016. At 22 years old, Nelson set a new personal best in the semi-finals of the women’s 200m, narrowly missing the final by 0.01 seconds. It was the fastest time run by an Aussie over the distance since Melinda Gainsford-Taylor at #Sydney2000 and this shot shows the strain and grit by Nelson to make every last millisecond count.
