Des participants, munis de drapeaux blancs, attendent le départ de la "marche civile pour Alep" devant l'ancien aéroport de Tempelhof, aujourd'hui l'un des plus grands foyers de demandeurs d'asile à Berlin. Des centaines de militants sont partis le 26 décembre à 10h du matin et ont pris la route des migrants, en sens inverse. Ils vont marcher jusqu'en Syrie. Tous les « citoyens ordinaires » sont invités à les rejoindre le long du parcours pour faire preuve de solidarité avec le peuple syrien.
