Last Christmas was the day I officially decided to myself that I wanted to make my Instagram and YouTube a full time job. Being a beauty guru on YouTube had been a dream of mine ever since I was probably 14, but never thought it would ever be possible. I practiced my eyeshadow on the floor of my bedroom every single day for years because I was determined to be the absolute best, and because that was what made me truly happy. Eventually I went to beauty school and started a beauty Instagram so I had somewhere to post photos of my clients hair transformations and pictures of the eyeshadow looks I would practice at home. One day I decided that I would try to make one of those cool 15 second makeup videos I always saw floating around on Instagram because they looked like so much fun to make! I filmed my eyebrow routine on my iPhone and edited it down to 15 seconds and posted it, not expecting anything to happen, I just wanted to see if I could do it. A few weeks later I randomly gained around 2,000 followers and figured out that @vegas_nay had shared my eyebrow video?!?! I cried for a good thirty minutes, I had never felt so amazing in my ENTIRE life! Eventually I got to 10,000 followers and my life truly felt complete. It then went to 100,000 to 500,000 and now I'm sitting here thinking "how in the FRICK do I almost have a million followers?" This year has been the most amazing, overwhelming, stressful, and happiest year I've ever experienced in my life, from the @NYX Cosmetics Face Awards to my first makeup collaboration with @beautybakeriemakeup. And none of this would have been possible without you. Each and every single one of you that follows me, whether you comment and like all of my photos or don't say anything at all, I need you to know that I truly and genuinely appreciate and love every single one of you. I promise to always stay humble, and to always be myself. I promise to never stop improving and learning for you. And I promise to always show my appreciation for you.
