In honor of today's 10th year anniversary passing (December 25, 2016) of the late great James Brown on Christmas Day (December 25, 2006), I wanted to put up this old live mix recording of a James Brown Tribute Mix that I did on @soundwaveskpfk on 90.7FM @kpfk in Los Angeles back in May 3rd, 2014, which happened to fell on his birthday. S/O to my man @djseano (who is the main host & DJ for the show) for giving me the edited version of the show with my mix only. I basically did a 30 minute mix of some classic James Brown songs along with some classic Hip Hop songs that sampled the Godfather Of Soul. Congrats also to Sean & the Soundwaves Radio crew for their 400th episode early this morning (December 24, 2016; 2-4am). Long Live the Hardest Working Man In Show Business....Mr. James Brown!
