15-year-old Nigerian #refugee Fati walks with her mother Mariam while carrying her sister at the Minawao refugee camp in Northern #Cameroon. She was abducted by Boko Haram and spent four months in captivity where she was given to a man and forced to be his wife. Fati was eventually freed by Cameroonian soldiers and reunited with her family. Across Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon and Chad, over 2.7 million people – mostly women and children – have fled Boko Haram-related violence. The conflict is taking a heavy toll on children.
