BOWIE AND THE SNOWMAN - AN INTRODUCTION “Snowman melting from the inside...” There’s a cool article (pun intended) in The Guardian by Jude Rogers titled: How The Snowman melted David Bowie’s heart.
It’s regarding David Bowie’s charming, albeit brief, introduction for the film adaptation of the Raymond Briggs' story, The Snowman.

In the great array of Bowie’s work, a short introduction to a 26-minute animation isn’t one of the key pieces. It’s hardly Ziggy Stardust or Low. But it is proof of his willingness to work on the unlikeliest of projects, and the sprinkling of magic he could bring to them. It would have been easy for the massive star to overshadow The Snowman, but that wasn’t what happened.
