The Prince of Wales, also known as The Duke of Rothesay when in Scotland, visited The Ayrshire Hospice today to meet patients and their families, staff and volunteers.

The hospice is an independent charity and provides care to anyone from the age of 16 affected by any life-limiting illness.

As part of the visit His Royal Highness brought a special cake in the shape of Highgrove House as a gift, for everyone at the Hospice to enjoy.
