Have you ever found a place, as an adult, that feels as full of magic as the mystical hideaways and forts of your childhood? This weekend in Nashville, I did at @urbancowboybnb.

Our friends built a little bnb in Brooklyn, and then a few years later found a dilapidated old Victorian mansion in East Nash, and decided to rehab it with love and tenderness. The result is a place where a big group of us got together this weekend, taking over every room. Lauren and Ruthie and I piled into one like little girls at a slumber party, screaming running from the boys down the hall. We built pillow forts, watched burlesque, ate homemade chili, drank coffee and read books by the fire, and played with the new house kitten named Nugget.

This old home has had new life breathed into it with wild patterned wallpaper, reclaimed wood beams, strange light fixtures that delight the eyes, and vintage furniture picked across America. It's a curated mishmash of comfort and curiosity. It's a dream.
