This image randomly popped into my head when I woke up this morning. After the heavy searching it took to hunt it down, I feel it's only right to share it. Ari & I shared a dressing room when we were in "13" on Broadway together & this is the view from our window at the Jacobs theatre moments before curtain. It was a blizzard outside & I remember the whole cast buzzing with excitement backstage while getting ready; taking breaks from vocal warm ups and makeup touch ups to peek outside & get a look at the snow. Something about being in NYC in the wintertime and knowing we were about to spend the next 2 hours performing on Broadway made us all stop & recognize how lucky we were to get to be doing what we love in a city as magical as NYC. This picture is now eight years old but it still brings me back to being 15 years old in that tiny dressing room, staring out at a snowy 45th street & being really, truly happy. #TBT
