"DOORS OFF” I have had the opportunity to hang out of a helicopter a handful of times in my shooting career - but I can honestly say that I will NEVER pass up the opportunity. It could be that I find the rotor wash exhilarating, or maybe its just the view looking over your toes at the earth below. There is something about being harnessed into the side of a helicopter and hanging out the door especially when accompanied with a skilled pilot that wants to take you for a ride. These pilots can make of break a shot - and when you get one that connects all the dots its a magical thing! Here @fd_productions and I went for a “ride” after nailing a few shots of Coulter and Newsome on this #mountain. We went for a little High speed flight along this ridgeline, and I am quite certain Franks video captured me laughing and shouting even over the noise from the bird!"
